[Gasmasq vs. Rav]

Gasmasq - Most lines seem to be aimed at Rav being an internet rapper. Brief mention about LARPing, then more internet stuff with Twitter. Finisher is pretty good.

Rav - N-bombs is a nice diss, LARPing diss, philosopher diss, addresses Emergency battle, brings up Hazardous Materials but doesn't make a strong punch out of it, art diss, thug/nerd diss, brings up the mayor recording, finisher is an appropriate response to Gas'.

I really have no idea who Rav is. If I had to battle him, I'd have no dirt against him, and I can tell that this is something Gas is struggling with. He tries to incorporate personals but can't. Rav on the other hand has no shortage of ammunition, although most of his personals come from things you'd find just from checking his profile page. Even so, Rav throws more punches and edges the battle.

I'd really like to see how this would have turned out if Gas had a second verse. Also the beat makes it a bit hard to hear the rappers since it's so damned loud. Still a good listen to.

[NGHH KO1 - Wyze vs Murdaa]

Wyze V1 - Okay name diss, guest appearance is a good personal, autistic/realistic was lame. Pop filter line seems to have come out of nowhere, Murdaa's audio quality has never bothered me.

Murdaa V1 - Something unintelligible about Jean Gray, a decently delivered line smudged by a double in post-production. Fantastic/ass kicked/tragic/mattress is pleasant to the ears but is also filler. Flow is in every way superior to Wyze though.

Wyze V2 - Can't hear you is a great diss, 'fear you' is a weak follower, calling his lines out as generic is good. Finishes up with some weak filler and doesn't fill all of his designated bars. You could at least have turned that into a diss, like "I don't even need a full 16".

Murdaa has good flow while Wyze almost sounds like he's whining. On the other hand Wyze throws much harder punches. I'd give Wyze the advance but not enthusiastically.

[NGHH KO1 - linez vs Jirohbomb]

linez V1 - Name of this beat is a little creative, 'guns in the street' is a model line for describing the mass amount of filler in the rest of the verse.

Jiirohbomb V1 - Rhymes are terribly predictable, noticed a War-Spawn flip but couldn't really understand it.

linez V2 - Mother's house/mother's pouch is clever, it's also hilarious how the last line is "you told everyone you gave up" and then Jiiroh doesn't respond. DAMN.

Overall not many personals but linez has more mic presence.

[NGHH KO3 - Murdaa vs Exceptid]

Murdaa V1 - Really nice flow and rhymes, problem is content. Only personals were 'emo dude' and the Pokemon line. Every verse should have at least one knockout punch, this didn't.

Exceptid V1 - I like the slow delivery, provides a nice contrast, nice 'spits fast' personal. Presentation/wasted is an example of Exceptid's shortcomings though. Is that supposed to be a slant rhyme? Seizure and gangster lines are awesome.

Murdaa V2 - I could barely understand this verse at all, except for a brief mention of Pokemon. Redundancy is bad.

Exceptid V2 - Nice name diss, 'can't understand you' is a nice rhyme with 'take a shower I command you', also works as a nice personal since it's hard to flip something you can't understand, same goes for the mental hospital line and the Daft Punk line. The one thing I'd take off is the finisher is pretty weak.

Really nice delivery on both sides but Murdaa lacks in content.

[NGHH KO1 - 8track vs Nimbus]

Mic quality is mediocre and diction is inconsistent; sometimes over-enunciated and sometimes unintelligible. Delivery is overall emotionless and full of filler. Voice acting is funny but 8track is not a rapper.

[NGHH'11- Madflex vs GreenSkull]

MadFlex V1 - Nice opener with RetVox, a few name disses, nice pointing out 6000 forum posts, girls on his monitor is pretty strong, ending with more RetVox lines is a little redundant but overall a strong verse.

GreenSkullKid V1 - Decent punches with MadFlex and BigRed, then all of a sudden "I'll fuck your sister". Shit's sake, way too much of this totally irrelevant garbage, "pussy faggot wiener gay" is a nice tongue-in-cheek finisher but in the end it's like you're flipping your own verse.

MadFlex V2 - Goes right on the offensive with all of the sex jokes. Macking pussy/tracking cookies is exquisite and brilliantly creative. Delivery on 'filthy whore just like her' is positively venomous. A lot of the following bars are 'copied all his last flow with no repeating' - if I were GreenSkull I would have flipped this so hard. Seems like there's not a whole lot of research going on here which brings the verse down. However, lost hopscotching lunatic/ruined it/move it bitch is a totally awesome finisher.

GreenSkull V2 - Decent filler, I like the metaphors, punches and flow change-ups but this verse is all filler.

Overall you guys both have great delivery but MadFlex attacks way way more. MadFlex to advance.

Too much sample, not enough beat. It's funny but I feel like some kind of wub wub bass would have made this whole thing pick up. I'm not a huge dubstep fan but this could have afforded to have more energy in it.

[CLAB- Scuare vs Emergency]

Scuare V1 - Nice opener, white trash, called out for gay bashing. Really great delivery, a few strong punches but a lot of filler.

Emergency V1 - I would have flipped that opener so much harder than "Rav got his ass kicked". Emergency just beat Rav, Scuare just beat tvJohnny. You could have easily come in with "How does it feel to know you won because of _____". Anyway you still flipped the Rav line. Name diss, decent Texas line, still some filler though.

Scuare V2 - The beast awakens, lol. Effortless Texas flip, B flip, Sesame Street flip (holy shit), dickriding flip, asking friends.

Emergency V2 - Sesame Street flip is decent, Burger King line would have been decent if you'd had some kind of follow-up but as-is it's a claim with nothing to back it up. No videos and Skype are personals but don't hit that hard.

Scuare mopped it up with his second verse.

[NGHH'11 - Cynic vs HeIsAlive]

Gloine V1 - Nice opener, stop hitting me up, punch concrete was filler but had some awesome imagery, fucking with that -> bunnies in hats was filler too but fairly creative, under my wing is a nice finisher.

Blest V1 - Big words but not a lot of punches and even then the punches were filler. If you want to get techy about rap, use multis, not big words. Greek mythology was the only thing that was specific and it wasn't even a personal. Delivery was quite dry.

Gloine V2 - Recycling the same big words BECAUSE THERE IS NO RHETORIC is a knockout punch, yelling is a nice hit, illmortal+Boss reference personal but again not a punch.

Blest V2 - Stay on topic, please? Admitting you recycled your material is okay if you have a follow-up, but for shit's sake don't just leave it hanging there, otherwise it's like you're conceding. Collaborated with me is a personal but not a knockout, diction is almost snobbish on that last line too.

[Rucklo - Drunk]

How lovably simple. I feel like you could have put in another few layers on top of this, but it would have ruined the simplicity. This is exactly what it's supposed to be.
