[HDC: Teqneek vs WarSpawn]

Teqneek V1 - Immediate points off for the doubling on your vocals. LARPing with Gasmasq is an alright personal but otherwise the verse is just a bunch of filler, though there is some technical prowess here. Doubletime was only mediocre, I'd work on that.

War-Spawn V1 - Nimbus line is great you sound a bit like him too. Voice diss, dick flips, LARP flip is okay.

Teqneek V2 - Last four bars WERE indecipherable, breath control diss, a few lines were complete gibberish, dick flip was weak.

War-Spawn V2 - That flip about Teqneek not understanding the last four bars and then flipping the other ones was fucking sweet. It might sound like a weird bar to go crazy over but it forms an extremely powerful argument and takes a gigantic chunk out of Teqneek's integrity. Damn. MadFlex line is only okay. SJD line is also a very strong line and a very strong finisher here.

Overall the battle seemed about neck and neck until War-Spawn's second verse where he completely annihilated Teqneek. I had always thought of War-Spawn as a beat maker. I guess I'll have to check him out more now.

[HDC Presents: Gas Vs BCT]

Gasmasq V1 - Didn't get the references in the beginning... Lines like garbage disposal were clever as hell, but other than those first few lines it was mostly filler. Mad charisma though. Seems a little off-beat, maybe a mixing issue?

Bummer V1 - HDC line, big words in a shit verse, progressively get worse is nice, since that's what I just noticed listening to the battle now.

Gasmasq V2 - Pedophile line is funny, awkward rhymes, funny whispering, win feel underhanded is fucking amazing, no multis.

Bummer V2 - HOLY SHIT THAT MULTI THOUGH. Nice MadFlex diss, LARPing diss. Damn, verse is hard as hell.

There is a serious mixing issue with this battle between the volumes of the MCs and the beat. That being said this is also a top-grade battle. Both first verses have solid wordplay and filler, both second verses go hard as fuck with shitloads of flips. Overall I liked Gasmasq's disses better but Bummer through the best single punch with his multi. Since it's really not that hard to sit down and right a really long multi if that's what you're trying to do, I'd give Gasmasq the win but both did a great job.

[HDC Presents: N1k vs. MooGi]

... What...?

I don't even know what to say about this. A few punches thrown, lots of filler, but not as entertaining as it could have been. I feel like "big deal, I did that too" would have been a funny personal. The "my dick" thing was clever but honestly I heard enough of that from Mickey Avalon.

[HDC Presents: Blest Vs Wyze]

Blest V1 - Lots of imagery but quite generic, I've also heard more clever lines come from Blest so this really isn't up to par for him.

Wyze V1- Wearing boxing gloves, show some aggression.

Blest V2 - More filler, imagery is better than the last verse but still needs to be aimed at Wyze.

Wyze V2 - Flow diss, repeats 'boring' a little too much, another name diss.

Overall Blest attacks more but Wyze throws the personals. Wyze for the win.

[HDC Presents: Gasmasq Vs Moogi]

Gasmasq V1 - Clever opener, first round loss diss, amazing multies with travesty-capacity.

n1k V1 - Mom flip is nice, Halloween flip is nice, didn't really understand the MadFlex line but the Klazik line was solid and the Suddle line was an awesome finisher.

I'd have really liked to see this battle finished. Gasmasq came with a few nice hits and while n1k flipped a few lines, most of his personals were in the same vein, name dropping other MCs. Both have nice delivery, Gas with his natural charisma and n1k with some real venom that I haven't heard from him before.

Very close fight, I wouldn't vote without seeing another round of verses.

[HDC Presents: N1k vs. Blest]

Dat shit cray.

n1k V1 - Two name disses, barely make sense is a nice diss, some nice imagery.

Blest V1 - Need some adjectives, nice. Benjamin flip is sick.

n1k V2 - dictionary.com diss and pause after cadences. Suicide line is clever. Nursery rhyme is an awesome diss. Maryland line is funny, vocab/no swag. Rhyming arachnid is a great way to throw a really clever line back in Blest's face and it hurts him too.

Blest V2 - Slaughter n1k like Christianity, nice. Poverty line is weak and poorly delivered.

Blest comes with a couple decent verses, n1k's first verse sucks but his second verse gives him the win by a landslide. Seriously though n1k dominated.

[NGHH - Pigpen Vs Greenskullkid]

PiGPEN - Ironic mom punch, fabricated first round loss diss, can't get played on your own website, a few more sex jokes which could have been okay if they'd been more succinct. Funny finisher though.

GreenSkull - Running out of breath is kind of weird since PiG actually has really good breath control. A bunch of filler and some sex jokes. Yuck. Stick it back in/pull it back out is really weak.

PiGPEN - Awesome wordplay with 'back out', great diction on "penis", a few weak flips on GSK's sex lines.

GreenSkull - Damn you flow nice as hell. Flow diss, keep bringing up my genitals, herpes flip.

Overall this is somewhat of a weak battle because PiGPEN relies so much on flipping, and GreenSkull doesn't give him much to work with other than his typical sex lines. I think the 'back out' line from PiGPEN gave him the win though.

[NGHH'11 - Steve vs EpiTroll]

Despite EpilepsyTroll being off-beat and weak in delivery, he seemed to throw more personals to me.

Steve V1 - Comes with a strong opener, then puts in the expected name disses with epilepsy and trolls.

Epi V1 - Overall structure seems better than Steve's and there's a lot of charisma behind the name diss flip. The anus sore and candle lines were kind of a waste of bars though.

Steve V2 - Horrible choice to recycle the name diss. No personals here and a gay joke at the end. Weak rhymes despite having decent flow.

Epi V2 - Voice flip, deja vu personal. Runs off beat a little toward the end but you're really good at bending words and making slant rhymes.

Pretty evenly matched but Steve fell off with his second verse. I'd give it to EpiTroll if voting were still open.

[NGHH'11 - n1k-mug vs suddle]

Damn, this is one hell of a first round. Alright, let's break it down.

n1k V1 - Good delivery for poor lines. You even made up a personal and then said it was fiction. Damn, can't you find any personals? You used a name diss in the second verse, you could have easily switched it over to the first one.

Suddle V1 - Rapping fast diss, voice diss, beat making. Three REALLY good personals. n1k is already on the ropes after this.

n1k V2 - Lullaby/name diss are okay, decent way to begin the verse. A bit more filler and this time your doubletime is actually worse, which only makes Suddle's first verse hurt worse. Girl flip is done the right way - I like the Darth Vader follow up.

Suddle V2 - Immediate player flip, recycle flip is okay but I've heard worse MCs on the site. Waffle iron is a nice finisher.

Suddle annihilates n1k with personals but in most other brackets n1k would have made it to the second round.
