For some reason this makes me think of a really annoying platformer that you would get stuck on. I can just imagine hearing this over and over until I got sick of it. A little bit of Castlevania influence and a lot of energy. Pretty good!

Can't believe I haven't heard this yet, I like both of you. Anyway I felt Richard took it, he just seemed more aggressive and was punching nonstop.

Scorch sounds like Butt-Head and is hilarious. Despite his flow being really shaky and his quality being mediocre he has some solid bar, showing that the dude needs practice but writes well.

BSerious comes with more consistency but his rhyme schemes don't feel quite as sophisticated. I would give him the win but I feel like with practice Scorch would take this.

Really tight track. Everything feels really crisp but also really natural compared to some of your more electronic tracks. This is fun freestyle material for sure.

Thanks ! :)

Sounds like a rotting wound, or maybe a leper colony. Dirty. The wah wah really gives this an eerie wobbly quality.

HeIsAlive responds:

Thanks man, lol.

I am totally in love with the guitar here. This perfectly nails the post-apocalyptic dead world mood. Wow! I REALLY want to jump on this.

HeIsAlive responds:

Youre more then welcome to drop something over this bud.
Just give me credit on the instrumental. :D

Something feels very dreamlike (or maybe nightmarish) about this - there's definitely a lot of discordant notes clashing with each other, kind of like some of the creepier tracks from Symphony of the Night. Nice job dude!

HeIsAlive responds:

Thanks man!

This feels really original. I can't think of too many beats like this, which is cool. This is slightly unsettling and relaxing at the same time. I have no idea what someone would spit over this though.

HeIsAlive responds:

I always think of clown when I hear this one, or a carnival, lol.
Thanks for the comment.

I like the samples you're using here but something feels a little hollow and incomplete here. The drums could use more variety and I wouldn't have minded a sample or two with a deeper sound. Heck, the violin sample you have could have been reused with a bit of distortion to make something a little creepy.

HeIsAlive responds:

I get what you mean bro.
Thanks for the c&c.

When I saw this had hit the frontpage I felt a little bad for skimming past it in my news feed. Wow!

This has a retro Final Fantasy feel to it - maybe VI or VII, with the beat reminding me a lot of Glass Fish Rhythm. Your background ambiance adds a really organic element that balances the chiptune incredibly well. It sounds a little like it runs out of steam maybe 2/3 of the way through but the mood is really mature and shows you're upping your game at a pretty steady pace.

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thanks for the review and five stars!

I'm glad you liked the piece. I've been trying out new styles and I hope I can continue to impress you in the future!

PS: I felt the same with your frontpage audio, ha!
