Intense. I love how grainy this sounds, it's awesome. Very digital sound to it, and the drums have a good punch to them.

This was actually the WIP, hear the full one here:

Wow, I only found this on YouTube a few minutes ago, and lo and behold it's on Newgrounds too? This is really incredible work, I think you did a great job keeping this song as majestic as the original without slacking off in the heaviness department. You've really pulled out a full arsenal of instruments for this, and each one provides a unique sound that's just right for the mood. Easily the best version of Dancing Mad I've ever heard.

Nice, some of the Silent Hill songs already sound kind of like hip hop so this fit in really well. No complaints here, you did an excellent job!

Exploring a school when I see a nurse
Hunched back and looking a little perverse
Now the darkness is coming and it's about to get worse
Maybe this is why Dahlia was looking kinda terse

Came to this town wishing I was dead
Turned around, in my face is Pyramid Head
Flipped a shit, turned around and fled
What is this thing? I'll go ask Ed

Going back to Silent Hill to find my other half
I know I shouldn't go, Douglas said it would be daft
The Order knows what they're doing and they won't be short-staffed
I'm just a reincarnation and they're all masters at the craft

Running after that girl and feeling short of breath
I saved her from that fire but she was just short of death
I tried asking around but Lisa Garland's hopped up on meth
I'd ask my family for help but I ain't got no one left

I find it exceedingly difficult to rap to this without trying to go doubletime. I guess I'll have to come back to this when I can perfect my style.

Simple beat but it'll definitely work for battles. Maybe add a little more of a melody to it?

One of my favorite battles on the site. Both Gasmasq and ICON both have incredible lines and flow, and the beat is sick as hell. Gasmasq wins but they both did awesome jobs.

I was actually looking for something like this. I don't feel like you came down hard enough on yourself for it to really be anti-hype, and it struck me almost like an Everyday Normal Guy clone, but overall I like the rhymes and found them funny.

You've got a good sound going on here, but it's too repetitive and predictable. If you want a progressive sound, you should try modifying a riff on each repetition, maybe even add or remove a note to displace the rhythm.

Em-Hotep barely even said anything to address Self directly, even though he had decent lines. Seemed more like he was just reciting some old lines. On the other hand, most of Self's lines were actually DIRECTED at Em-Hotep.

I hope this is used for one of the Clabtrap battles... The sporadic emphasis on the drums and instrumentation make this song very rough and unpredictable despite it having a great flow to it.

glad you liked it despite the roughness, i just threw this together in about 2 hours (Y)

Holy shit, that Chris kid is going to be dangerous some day. Good battle, even though I'm not really seasoned in judging battles.
