Creepy, I really like the cold waviness to it. The song itself seems kind of threadbare, but if you added anything else in I wouldn't have liked it as much.

I can just imagine some really suspenseful chase up a long winding staircase. Really loving what you have here! Only issue is that everything is smushed to the same volume, while normally percussion and certain instruments would overpower each other and create a more textured feel.

Jeez, that was better than I thought possible. The synth was nice and cutesy, which fit the voice of the singer (also cute) and helped the song 'dawdle' its way along, if that makes sense. The swing also added to the effect.

What kind of annoys me about this song is that because of its slowness, repeating the lyrics without any alterations a second time kind of brought things down a notch. Simply put, the pace of the song creates tedium if repeated too much. The ending could have also been a little bit more planned, because as it is it seems very incomplete.

This really sounds excellent. The orchestration really uses all of the instruments and sounds to piece together something excellent. There's definitely eastern and western influence here, and the fusion of the two turned out quite well. Most of all I'm just stunned by how pristine this song sounds. Everything feels very smooth and natural.

Emid responds:

Thanks so much for your review. Yeah I tried to blend both eastern and western instruments, programmed some to fit into it and am happy it came out the way I wanted it to be and moreover I am glad you enjoyed it :)

Really good, you did an excellent job on this! Both guitar and drums sound excellent, recording quality is a little poor though, which is a real shame. Other than that this is just about everything anyone could ask for in a Doom cover.

I've given so many 5s to songs on this site, and I don't know how to express how awesome this song is in comparison. When I began listening to it I went on checking my email and stuff, and about three minutes in I had to look back at this song to make sure it hadn't looped because it felt like I'd been listening for so long.

This song is just a gigantic wave of sound. GOOD sound. Every little note on this song is just pure goodness. As I don't have any musical knowledge myself, I couldn't point out why, but I can definitely feel some excellent flow going on here, and this does a great job of not getting repetitive at all. This is going into my favorites, and I don't think it's going to be knocked down from its #1 spot there for a very, very long time.

I can understand. Sometimes I feel like the voting/rating system isn't quite fluid enough for my tastes. But that's why I try to explain it in the comments.

But thanks for the review, man. It means a lot. Constructive criticism is one of the best elements I could ever mix into my songs, so I'm honored to have folks do it for me.

Eerie as fuck... Only four seconds, but it makes me really feel some kind of madness. The quiet incoherence really strikes a chord with me. My only real problem is that it seemed a little fast, making the four seconds overlap each other a lot. It could have been much more ambient.

Really shocking, though. I don't know you or why you died, but I can feel something here that seems to explain it without words.

Doogoodo, doo goo, doogoodo, doo goo, doogoodo, doo goo...

Gets kind of repetitive, especially for something only 19 seconds long. The rhythm doesn't change at all and the melody is basically the same second and a half over and over.

On the upside, it loops well and the sound is nice and mellow, which makes it a little less painful.

Very good. Above all, I can hear a lot of emotion was put into these 17 seconds, but the composition isn't bad either. My only complaint is that it is rather short, and what you do have repeats quite a bit, making 17 seconds seem even shorter than it is.

Nice and mild. Everything from the drums to the guitar to the vocals are nice and laid back, definitely not something you see on Newgrounds very often. I could complain that it should be more complex, but I think making something too technical would have made the song a little less sleepy, and that would have changed the whole dynamic of the song.

Once upon a time, water taught itself how to feel pain.
