Room for Improvement
I appreciate the subtitles, especially as you are not a native speaker of English or Spanish. However, i feel some things could have been better. While the graphics were good, as always, the black and white theme seemed a little off. I noticed that the scarves, among a few other things, are in color. However, I feel that if it was primarily a black and white enviornment, colored things should only be those that are interpreted to be an important element to the scheme of the animation. Additionally, the beginning seemed to make no sense in context to the other episodes. As always, the animation was very smooth, with a few bumps. As it was an animation, interactivity can barely be an aspect, but the option of subtitles was done very smoothly and in an unobstructive manner. I have no idea why you chose the audio track that you did. Perhaps the melody and rhythm somewhat fit the storyline of the series, but the lyrics certainly didn't, and that was all that was portrayed by the subtitles. Still, good quality, no flaws. The style and presentation was exceptional; the credits weren't cheesily short, the menu was made with care. No violence or humor, but there wasn't intended to be. Overall, not the best I've seen. I can see you put effort into this, and that you are a good animator. However, you are still growing, despite what most of the reviewers may think. The lightheartedness of the art style, events, and music did not fit the seriousness of the plot and how it went into the theme of segregation and racism. A movie like Fallen Angel, per say, had a clearly intense plotline accompanied by vivid graphics, intense sound effects, and much action and motion to express and emphasize the intensity of the entire feature. Overall, this could have been way better.
Graphics: 7/10 - Sound: 9/10 - Interactivity: 10/10 - Style: 10/10 - Violence: VOID - Humor: VOID - Overall: 7/10
