Gosh, this is really nice. Flows really smoothly, and when I finally realized what this song was missing I was genuinely shocked. This needs lyrics! I really wonder what they would be about, but any singing done over this would be a perfect 10 from me.

On an unrelated note, what's up with all the food in your song names?

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thanks as always Kwing, for taking the time to review!
I would have added lyrics, but I can't sing at all :c
As for what the lyrics would be, there are so many options...

About the food names; The first few times I just typed in the last thing I ate before uploading, and now it's just a 'thing' I do, I guess... heh not much meaning at all really ^U^;

Nice work here. The bass is a little quiet, which is really a shame because you could have made this seriously jazzy. As it is, it's still good, but the pitch just seems so high without anything 'grounding' it, which makes it seem a little bit incomplete to me.

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thanks for your review as always, Kwing!
I will take what you said into consideration :)

Nice and heavy, I'm loving it! The drums in particular sound really varied and it shows with the rest of the 'song'. Only issue is how damn short it is, I literally tried to pause it at the end just to keep it from ending. Instead I clicked a tiny bit too late and ended up replaying the song (not a bad alternative).

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Haha, cool. Glad you dig it...was short on purpose. Glad you like the drums, I am finally, very happy with them as well. :)

Cheers for the review, man.

Excellent piece! Sounds like a town theme song for a game. If i didn't know any better I would have thought this came from one of the great composers!

I have to take half a star off just because this theme feels a little -too- gentle. Some kind of rich, lower harmony would have grounded the overall sound better. Still, I really enjoy it as is!

richivinsky responds:

Responding 10 years too late, but just want to say thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed this piece of mine :)

This really sounds excellent. The orchestration really uses all of the instruments and sounds to piece together something excellent. There's definitely eastern and western influence here, and the fusion of the two turned out quite well. Most of all I'm just stunned by how pristine this song sounds. Everything feels very smooth and natural.

Emid responds:

Thanks so much for your review. Yeah I tried to blend both eastern and western instruments, programmed some to fit into it and am happy it came out the way I wanted it to be and moreover I am glad you enjoyed it :)

I've given so many 5s to songs on this site, and I don't know how to express how awesome this song is in comparison. When I began listening to it I went on checking my email and stuff, and about three minutes in I had to look back at this song to make sure it hadn't looped because it felt like I'd been listening for so long.

This song is just a gigantic wave of sound. GOOD sound. Every little note on this song is just pure goodness. As I don't have any musical knowledge myself, I couldn't point out why, but I can definitely feel some excellent flow going on here, and this does a great job of not getting repetitive at all. This is going into my favorites, and I don't think it's going to be knocked down from its #1 spot there for a very, very long time.

I can understand. Sometimes I feel like the voting/rating system isn't quite fluid enough for my tastes. But that's why I try to explain it in the comments.

But thanks for the review, man. It means a lot. Constructive criticism is one of the best elements I could ever mix into my songs, so I'm honored to have folks do it for me.

Wow! Sounds really professional. Excellent work, all of you!

Dimoria responds:

Thank you :)

Dude, wtf... You're like a god with the catchiness factor and how well everything loops, even though all your songs are so short. Everything you do flows so naturally, this is amazing.

bryce responds:

yeah .. i normally just work on something short that sounds good and loops well and get lazy and say it's done .

glad you like - every so often one pops up that is longish :_)

Great job man! The song feels very 'warm' and the melodies are really cute! I feel like this song could use more drums, but other than that it sounds really good. One more thing: The sound quality of this song is a little grating. There are 'soft' and 'harsh' sounds you can use in an 8-bit tune, and this one could give you a headache if you listened too long. Is there a way you could soften the sound a bit?

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thanks for the review!

I was also thinking the same thing with the harshness, so I changed some of the instruments so it's not as ear-piercing.

Thanks again!

Very cheery! I'm not a big fan of that whole 'thump thump' sound that you get in 90% of pop songs, because I think it's really overused, but the 8 bit style is really nice. Some of the phrases are a little bit weird to me, and if this makes sense, it feels as if I can't really grasp their context without more of a bass line holding everything together. Still, it's fun to listen to. It just feels unfinished.

ShinsukeIto responds:

Wow, thanks for your quick review!

I'm glad you found it fun to listen to, and I'm pretty sure I know what you mean about the bass line...
Thanks for the 4 stars!
