Holy shit. Luke James brings the heat like crazy in this battle, the beat is sick too and goes with his voice perfectly. Jang Gang doesn't really have good lines or flow, but strangely enough his delivery does have a certain sting to it.

Of course, I still vote Luke James by a mile. Will definitely be checking out Richard's beats and Luke's raps.

Wolfie V1 - Name diss opener is kind of excessive. Rhyme scheme is pretty solid. A million sites is a good diss.

Sonic V1 - Wombat flip is nice, interesting flow. Beat diss is alright. HDC flip is weak since it doesn't really rhyme, Mad Libs is strong. 100k is alright. Finisher is weak.

Wolfie V2 - Cramming words line is actually kind of jumbled. Rebecca Black is solid. Beat flip is alright. Blog finisher is strong.

Sonic V2 - Hipster flip is solid. No emotion is hypocritical. SJD line is alright. Rookie line is nice, lisp and accent is great. Finisher is monotone and dull.

Neither emcee brought much energy to this fight, but there are still a few nice punches thrown. I'd give it to Sonic for being more organized and overall firing more ammunition.

Oh fuck.

SKS V1 - Damn, just use your normal voice, please. Also no personals and lame wordplay.

Smorg V1 - A handful of personal punches, bars had wordplay but it wasn't particularly clever. Rhyming 'outta the' sounds awkward as hell, just let it flow man.

SKS V2 - Voice just got worse, damn it. Mic and competition flips are weak. Flow is sporadic and barely on beat.

Smorg V2 - Barry White line is a surprising knockout punch coming from you, awesome diss. Special comp line is alright I guess. Freestyle finisher was amusing but in a bad way.

Smorg wins because he took the battle seriously. When he tries he can actually come up with decent disses.

Jakobe - Smooth, dude. Consistent, powerful. Metaphors are awesome.

Wolfie - Nice, flow is a little hard to understand at times, since each word kind of slips into the next.

Sky - Rhyme scheme could have been bolstered a little bit, you still sound nice though.

CHiLE - Kind of sucks that you had to bring up the caboose, you sounded fine but seemed a little overshadowed by the other emcees. Pretty punchy flow, which is cool.

The imagery is cool and all but to be honest I've never been a huge fan of these Cyphers. That being said, if I'm to judge based on quality, you guys did a great job, even if the lyrics seemed to lack context. I've got to say Jakobe came with the strongest flow and imagery, and also sounded really compatible with the beat. Kudos all around though.

MC-OG V1 - Opening name diss is somewhat clever, lots of filler, Obama line is lame. Stumbled a little but internal rhymes were decent (insufficient). Could have used some more personals.

War-Spawn V1 - Wordplay flip, in your brother's shadow is solid, Hank Hill line is amusing, politics diss is okay.

MC-OG V2 - Father flip is alright. Lack of annunciation is great, emo diss is decent. Lord up above is funny. Deep incision is a good finisher.

War-Spawn V2 - Dragged out flip is nice. Suicide and voices flip is sick. Punchlines flip is nice, lord flip is alright. Razor flip is nice, all these flips are totally relentless. Finisher is decent.

MC-OG comes a lot better than I'm used to hearing from him, but War completely obliterates him in his second verse despite having a first verse that was relatively weak.

TehSlap V1 - Slow isn't very steady but worst of all there just aren't enough punches. This is about as close as you could get to battling a real-life Kefka.

Wyze V1 - Awesome opener, name diss is okay but not a whole lot of personals thrown. Slap is a forum regular, you could have done a ton of research. Much as his verse sucks, you could have made a verse with no filler.

TehSlap V2 - Grandson flip is okay, half of the stuff I couldn't even understand. Flow diss is horrible.

Wyze V2 - Cry like a bitch is nice. Tossing coins in the well is clever. Again a lack of personals, but your delivery and overall ability to actually throw a punch gives you the clear win.

Wyze V1 - Spits on his penis is tacky but funny. Depressed/lisp/manic depressive are decent, overall the disses are slow but steady, making a pretty airtight net.

War-Spawn V1 - Broke flip could have been better. Fat disses are redundant. Can't hold a flow is alright. Moose/Canadian diss is alright.

Wyze V2 - Get more head is nice, helped me grow is clever. Moose flip is amazing, power of Christ made me laugh out loud. Broke diss and mood swing are way redundant, ending on a bad note.

War-Spawn V2 - Couldn't understand moose flip. Hard to breathe is kind of rich coming from you. Obstacle course is kind of irrelevant.

War didn't come with anything groundbreaking, while Wyze went ham through the whole battle. I must say I'm kind of surprised by both emcee's performances. Wyze takes the win by a significant margin.

SJD V1 - Gaming diss is only okay. Girls diss is weak, breath diss is strong. Wu Tang and Lupe lines are okay. Call of Duty diss and respawn should have been next to the gaming diss in the beginning. Lag is funny, couldn't hear the finisher is okay but kind of came out of the blue, could have used buildup. Delivery is fierce, SJD sounds really good hear. Overall: Vicious

War V1 - Mother diss is kind of funny, sort of an indirect flip. Teenager diss is nice, combined into the love flip it hits pretty hard. W flip is okay. A lot of little disses but they went by a little too fast and briefly for me to understand the backstory, let alone the words. Record sales is solid. Overall: Decent

SJD V2 - Family flip is amusing, comic diss could have been better. Link disses made me roll my eyes. Double dragon line is kind of boring due to lack of a rhyme. Finisher is hot air. Overall: Passable

War V2 - Couldn't rhyme an onomatopoeia is great, girl flip is nice, nine years/didn't earn shit is nice, bringing up Scuare sounds almost like you're hiding behind him. People you talk to/vote for you, spoiled line could have been expanded upon. Name drop flip isn't really true, finisher doesn't make sense to me. Overall: Good

I've never really been a fan of the Senator's flow, but he really brings it this time, and it made judging this a lot tougher. A lot of personals were thrown but a lot of them also fit into the Foyer effect, so it's hard to tell how premeditated these bars were.

Another reason this is hard to judge is the performances were not consistent at all. I compared each verse above and got a little stuck. The first and last verses are definitely the strongest, although SJD's second verse is weaker which kind of balances the battle out.

This battle is fucking close as hell. Originally I was going to give this to Senator, but when I listened again and again I kept catching more of War's lines that turned out to be really damned clever. I almost always cast a vote when I review but this is just too close for me to vote for someone and not regret it.

Beat is dope as hell too.

War V1 - City/town opener is mediocre, "and your battle with Gas" (huge gasp) "you a ???? invention". Addressing BCT as the champ would be better if you had flowed better, state of emergency is way off beat. EP diss is delivered poorly.

Bummer V1 - 'Not used to it' is a nice flip. SJD battle is sloppy is nice. Entered in raffle is amusing. Legend flip is incredibly powerful.

War V2 - Immediate legend flip is delivered well but weak in concept. Attacking BCT for filler, then you come with the sports bra line? Dude, come on... West Bumblefuck is funny. Age diss, name diss, etc. are like mosquito bites. None of them really hit home hard.

Bummer V2 - N-word flip is okay, rhyme scheme bolsters it significantly. Flow diss is okay, nerd diss is okay. Three wins is okay, Metal Gear is okay.

What the hell happened here? I love War and Bummer, so why do they both sound so weak here? War's flow is way off and Bummer's lines just don't do it for me. I'd still give it to Bummer based on delivery but this is a sad day.

Damn, you sound nice as hell on a slow beat. Your voice and style work really well when you sound depressed, which might be kind of an underhanded compliment but it's true. Backhanded or not, this genuinely sounds really smooth. Not sure I understand the lyrics but if this is supposed to be anything like Aesop Rock (I hear they're an inspiration) then maybe I'm not supposed to.

MaoDaMighty responds:

Im pretty sure this one was the product of a verse and hook I wrote and recorded in a sitting or Lib ShimShimz asked to rap on the beat for something or another...I don't remember... thanks though... I guess I'll get an emo haircut and emo face paint- they wear face paint, right?
