The pulsing is pretty simplistic, but the sounds are effective. This strikes me almost as more suspenseful than scary, but either way it's certainly unsettling enough to be captivating.

Less of a song and more of a droning ambience. Nevertheless, this seems really effective for setting the tone. The sounds themselves are rather simple and repetitive - you could probably have layered a few other things on top of what you have - but again, it's not bad if you intend to pair it with game visuals or something similar.

Might be cool to break this into three loops (0:00-0:16, 0:17-0:46, and the rest of it) since this would be a great adaptive soundtrack.

Simple but effective. Catchy beat, really digging the boom bap and guitar.

Really digging the thumpiness of this beat. Creative sampling and cool switch-up at the end.

I like the samples, but something feels off about the mix, maybe too much compression? For the chill/downtempo effect, a quieter piano with more reverb would have suited the track a lot better as well as giving some breathing room for the drum track. Some might prefer a slower tempo though I tend to prefer rapping over faster beats anyway.

One or two more samples for a bridge or just some kind of variation would have also been nice - as it is now, the loop drones on for the entire track.

I've been looking for beats that are moderately fast and have a serious tone but aren't angry or aggressive, and I think I've found a goldmine in your beats. Love the slightly tribal percussion and wind instruments, and the dramatic choir is a nice touch as well. Lots of interesting sounds that blend surprisingly well.

Totally forgot this beat was a thing. So much homage to 90s boom bap in one beat. Smooth, well-sampled, and overall so much higher quality and more CONVINCING than just about any other beat I've heard on the site. You could put this next to several beats actually produced in the 90s and I 100% would not be able to figure out which one was from 2009.

Prometheus V1 - A couple really light punches here, and a lot of nonsense. The black Justin Bieber? Some good flow and swagging.

AxTekk V1 - Ax sounds a little wet behind the ears here. His vocals aren't the clearest, but he's pretty consistent with rebuttals and punches more consistently (pop filter and a noise gate.) The biggest issue is that his sentences get crammed together enough that it's not always clear what he's saying, or what the immediate relevance is between his punch and Prometheus.

Prometheus V2 - After Ax's verse, the slow and relaxed flow ends up posturing him quite well, and this really puts weight behind him dissing Ax's lack of clarity.

AxTekk V2 - Ax comes back hard with his flow. Not sure what changed between his first and second verses but the sheer aggression and improved clarity make this verse stand out a lot. There are some real punches here, too (Big Bang Theory.)

This is a hard battle to judge. Prometheus sounds more comfortable and consistent, whereas Ax punches harder but his first verse brought him down a lot. Prometheus rapped better, Ax battled better. I give Ax the win, but I do wish he'd come a bit stronger.

Damn, this is cold. Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. There's definitely some war-spawn influence here, but the synths are 100% AxTekk goodness. Lots of variety and very moody.

Too funky. The percussion here is creative but flows so damned well.

Once upon a time, water taught itself how to feel pain.
