Interesting. Sounds halfway between video game and dance music. A little repetitive but very aesthetic as a soundscape.

I'm a huge fan of metal and I really wanted to like this, but there's just not a whole lot of interesting material here. The riffs feel incredibly simple and they loop quite a bit too.
Not a huge fan of this kind of music, but I liked that the noise level here was a bit more toned down and subtle - from a surface level at least, I think that sets this song apart a bit. My biggest criticism would be that the song doesn't feel like it progresses much.
The bass sounds a little muddy to me, but other than that this sounds pretty nice. The ambient style is relaxing for sure, and the keys are quite nice. The piano isn't terribly repetitive, but some changeups in tempo or energy would have been kind of nice. Still though, the mixing is probably my biggest gripe.
I think you have a point - mixing has admittedly never been my strong suit... I might've gone a bit overboard with the reverby/ambience sound.
Anyway, thank you very much for the constructive criticism! :)
Wow, really nice job here! Lots of progression, ups, downs, and overall really exciting and compelling. The violin sounded a little unnatural, but this was mostly masked when it was layered with other tracks and only stood out during the more quiet parts.
I'm generally not a huge fan of this type of music, but I really liked the chords you used, and the drums had some decent variety (though the samples you used could have been a bit more varied.) The build to the drop starting at 2:06 seemed too soon - would have been nice if the bridge had been a little longer. Outro also seemed a bit too loud and felt out of place since the song sounded like it was trying to wind down.
Aside from the mood (which I liked a lot,) I think having a swing rhythm would have made this a lot better. Something about the mixing also sounds a little weird to me - it sounds like your backing track had the highs turned down, and while I get that this can sometimes be a nice aesthetic choice, in this particular song it just didn't sound good to me. I also think faster decay on the notes would have made the track sound quieter and contributed to a calming feeling.
Ow, Thanks for your comment
i'll keep it in mind. it's good that you liked the song
The first half of this was pretty blah, but in the section at 1:30 you started layering the different parts and I found that quite nice to listen to. All in all pleasant to listen to, but I would have liked a bit more anticipation/buildup.
I'll make sure to look into that :)
