Excellent podcast, I feel like you two had a great balance between information and entertainment and it was just overall awesome to listen to.

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I aimed for something like that to happen.
Your tracks are really getting better! Lots of energy in this one, quite catchy too. This kind of straddles the line between an opening theme and a credit roll. Heck, maybe it would be best to clip samples from this to make individual themes for a game, since this is so dynamic, but for a standalone track this is great as it is.
Thanks Kwing!
I actually came up with this song while trying to write an opening theme, believe it or not!
I'm glad you liked it, it was fun making it as well :)
Awesome beat. The wind is really lighthearted and mellow, the percussion is beastly but for some reason the two mix together perfectly. This is really smooth. You're taking gigantic steps in improving your style, and you weren't a bad musician to begin with, either!
thanks man i appreciate it. i haven't been posting much stuff here - a lot of my beats are on soundcloud and i put up a little album/beat-tape here: archive.org/details/diversions/v2
Seemed a little odd. I thought podcasts were normally talking. The tracks you put in were good, even though I'm not much of a fan of techno. Seemed like you could have just as easily used the playlist feature to put all these tracks back to back.
The reviews toward the end were cool, but guest appearances and discussions are really the meat and potatoes of a podcast in my opinion.
Yes, this was my first episode, in later episode i become more active. I will try and get some interviewing going. But this is afterall a music podcast. So keep that in mind please.
This has a very Nujabes feel to it. As a whole it feels very complete and relaxing. Not sure how it could be made better, seems great the way it is.
It can be loads better but thanks for the comment. I dont know about a nujabes feel. I have a problem nailing "feel" in music.
Versatile beat. I didn't think this was very relaxing, seemed too much like the calm before a storm to me. Exceptid and Murdaa both got really heated over this beat, and it really fit.
Simple but effective.
Thank you very much for the listen. even though this is an older beat to me, I feel that it's a stepping stone to where I am now, and I love it :D thanks
I liked this a lot. I feel like there are a lot of songs that follow this pattern (Jon Lajoie, Mickey Avalon, PiGPEN) but I feel like you really got creative and produced quality work, which is really hard to do when there's already loads of this kind of stuff all over (ha).
I'm not sure if this track is short because you wrote a lot and cut it down or just because this was meant to be a quick project, but either way you did your thing and it was short enough that it didn't become too redundant. You also packed a fair share of multis and internals into the lyrics, though at times the slow tempo made the technical prowess a little less apparent (on the bright side, that gives this track a lot of replay value). The only thing that really let me down was a lack of punchlines, which goes a long way when you're already walking the beaten path. Complaining about an excessive penis length was unique and made for a good setup, but the ending to the track felt a little premature.
Smooth track. Liked the Dr. Scholl like a lot.
Well, it's not about length, it's stating that my penis is actually a banana cluster-like assembly of human feet. I wrote this when I was half asleep btw. Fell asleep writing and woke up to read ^^those lyrics^^ you are now hearing. I recorded it as just a quick track to inspire myself to get back in the swing of things.
But holy crap I am honestly glad you liked this. So thanks for the input and hopefully I drop more stuff very soon for y'all.
I can really groove to this - you're right in thinking you chose a damn good sample. The beat starts and ends pretty well with plenty of mix-ups and whatnot, but around the 1:30 mark through a good chunk of the track I felt like you just kind of sat on the loop and didn't do much with it, which was a slight disappointment. It might have been prudent to squeeze in another sample or two just so it would have given you more to work with. Very nice though.
Thanks, honestly the only reason I didn't expand more on the beat is self doubt. I am much more competent and confident in my rapping than in my beat making. Maybe I will get there one day with my beats as well.
Classic OLD school sound... Never gets OLD. Waaaait a second...
Aside from that one little blunder in the hook, this is damn good. The three of you are so different but it really works. You all flowed really well on a beat that's dastardly fast and in the end result is great. The schemes were nice, but the lack of multis was a bit of a letdown. Rezzy had a few, but most of the rhymes came from identical suffixes, which kind of leave a stale taste in my mouth. Of course, this isn't a big deal considering this track is a throwback to a different generation of hip-hop.
Lmao, its a play on words really. Old School meant something from back in the days, classic meant the signature sound of the west coast, and the last old meant that it was timeless. Glad you liked the song though, and I might release some stuff with more lyrical complexity later, but that isn't really my strong point. My strengths lie in story telling and blending with the beat.
I haven't reviewed this yet? Huh, I downloaded all of your tracks and have had them on loop while playing Worms.
Holy shit man. Your rhyme scheme is perfect - multis galore. Content is perfect - the third-person perspective prevents it from sounding self-absorbed while you tell a ruthlessly dark narrative. Beat is perfect. Damn man, this is crazy.
oh man, i havent checked this bad boy in ages. thanks so much for the props man. glad you got something out of it.
