Great Song, Poor Remix

There's barely any harmony, and the song quality is kind of low. Make it sound less synthesized and maybe incorporate more fitting instruments.

Aaagh!!

The guitar does liven it up, but you need a much stronger bass. I'm just itching for it all over!!

Wow!

Really, really good! Excellent piece! Although both Poison Mind and Vampire Killer sort of have the same mood to them. Perhaps you could have done a mixup with Abandoned Pit to incorporate a bit of spookiness. This is Castlevania, after all.

NEEDS MORE RESTS

Fast, lighthearted, relaxing, and enjoyable. Makes me want to do some hillbilly stuff, lol. Good job. But you need more rests badly.

Rhymes Could be Better

I really like the idea you've got here, but the song goes out of the way a lot to rhyme. It sounds like a bit of clever vocabulary and you wouldn't have had to make the lyrics sound so forced. The beat and voice weren't really my thing, either. For the voice, I think it was mostly the combination between that and the lyrics, and as for the beat... I'm not into hip-hop much, but I generally prefer more oldschool-style stuff.

Interesting concept, though.

Sounds Like a Dance Song

Nice heavy, driving beat you got here. Not sure what else to say, but the remix translated well, and of course is very cheery. I also love the shortness of it, in case someone actually wanted to use this in a Flash.

Unn-tiss-unn-tiss!

I Usually Don't Like House

This grew on me the more I listened. Actually it sounded kind of like dubstep. But despite all of the cool bit scraping and such, the sound was pretty generic...

indeed at 1:12 i recon a few scraping :) also at the end of the cut filters.. but anyways, thanks for the review!

Goodness :)

Progressive, heavy. Not sure what else to say about it but I love everything about this song! Sounds really fluid and continuous. Excellent work!!

I Like!

The bass and guitar really meld together nicely, and the drums are good, but every drumbeat sounds the same. You should remove them and cover over it with real, recorded drums.

DanJohansen responds:

Glad you liked it! Although I don't demand drums to always do different stuff all the time in tunes. I guess you don't like AC DC? Also.. some bands like to keep the same rythm guitars throughout tunes as well.. to keep a unity going like Rammstein. I think anything can work well if done right. Thanks for listening!

Well, it is Repetitive

But seeing as 90% of metal songs on the NG AP have synthesized drums, I still really liked the natural sound the drums have, and the variety in them.
