When I heard this for the second time on Draw-Play 3, it sounded familiar, but I couldn't remember it was from Sift Heads 4 because Pop-Brain forgot to credit you when SH4 first came out. I guess recently he added this! Nice job, and it does sound epic, but at the same time, it's good enough to listen to for a while, unlike most "epic" music!

Sounds only mildly industrial; more like heavy metal, but it still has some good work. The distortion could have been a little less, but this is still amazing. It really makes an appearance when the drums come in at 0:47.

It sounds natural and techno at the same time for some reason, giving it a nice tone that's easy to enjoy from almost anyone's perspective. Great job!

The opening sounds JUST like Daxter, which made me laugh when I first heard it. Kind of interesting, but a bit long, considering it strings along sometimes. I don't like it as much as I could, but that's because I'm very opinionated, not because this isn't good. I'm rating this on quality and not my own enjoyment. Great job!

Makes me think of toast. It's very simple and small-scaled, but is nonetheless very good. It would make a good background music for almost any video game, which is a very rare attribute of any song. I like it! I don't know how you did it, but the song could be used universally as background music.

It doesn't sound nearly as techno as it could have.

I don't like it... It's not that I don't appreciate your effort, but the Brackenwood collection is themed on nature, trees, and other magical creatures. It's not that I have anything against techno, but this shouldn't sound so electric taking into account that Brackenwood is supposed to be primitive ages.
Author's Response:
Bearing in mind I meant to put this in the video game genre, wouldn't you say that 8bit is "primitive"?
:)
I appreciate your honest review however.
Thanks very much :)

But the intro IS overboard.

Like I've said before, you fuse techno with heavy metal (is that the definition of industrial?) in a way that's very creative and rock-out-able. Keep it up!
