Stick Figure Fighting Collab!

Posted by Kwing Jul. 16, 2008 @ 3:12 PM EDT

(This is my first collab, so organization might not be too god)
I'm making a collaboration with 1-9 Flash artists. Everyone who joins must pitch in 30 seconds or more of pure stick fighting. The point of this collab is to make it like one enormously long animation. How it will work: The first artist will animate a 1-on-1 stick figure fight FBF, and the last frame of their animation will be the first frame of the person after him/her. The next person will simply continue the animation, and so on with the next animators. If you're building your animation out of another person's and you want to change the stick figure's shape or the animation style or proportion, you may do so, but morph the changes from theirs to yours slowly, so that it looks fluent.

Rules:
Canvas Size: 500x250
FPS: 18
Black Background
White Stick Figures
Only melee weapons allowed
No Music, but SFX allowed
No Deadline... Only when everyone's done
Email the .FLA to: thejunkiebox@gmail.com

Only one submission, and I may accept something less than 30 seconds if it's really good. However, your one submission may be anywhere longer than 30 seconds. Also: Since animators will be building off of yours, once you submit it, there's no improving it and sending it in again!

I'll be setting the music to Burly Brawl from the Matrix for the exact reason that I want the collaboration to last really long. The song itself endures for 6277 frames at 18 FPS.

Have fun!

IMPORTANT!! The first person who leaves a comment makes the first one, which will be sent on to the next person who leaves a comment, and so on.
